Caterpillar Room
Bramble House Nursery is family run. We understand the needs and wants of our families and will do our very best to accomodate. We are proud to offer high quality, low cost care and education 07:30-18:00 all year round. All meals, snacks and personal care (nappies and wipes) are included in our session prices.
Our baby and toddler unit is designed to provide a warm, safe and stimulating environment in which the children can explore. We have a separate cot room offering a calm enviroment for peaceful sleeps.
Our aim is to provide a home from home environment, offering stimulating activities where the children feel secure and happy, having fun whilst promoting key skills. Open ended resources are provided to promote language and physical skills, whilst our ambitious team of highly qualified practitioners support children socially and emotionally.
We have a wonderful team many of which have been with us since we opened in 2013.
Butterflies Room
Our Butterfly room is designed for busy 2-3 year olds. It is set up continuously to prompt wonder and curiosity. The environment will inspire language development, physical and social skills, whilst supporting the children as they begin to show some independence.
We offer flexible funded sessions that are implemented to ensure all childrens individual needs are met.
As within all rooms your child will be allocated a key person who is responsible for ensuring all your child's needs are met. This includes their happiness and well being. We believe it is important that the key person is there at the end of your child's day to facilitate a hand over, sharing important details about your child's day with you. In addition you can message your child's key person at any time via Tapestry which is an excellent communication tool promoting parent partnership.
Dragonfly Room
Our Dragonfly room is designed for our 3-4 years olds (pre-schoolers). It is set up open plan with free flow to the garden area, allowing the children the free choice of whether to be in or outside. In Dragonflies the children are preparing for 'Big School' learning to be independent and discovering themselves. Our highly trained practitioners support children's social and emotional skills whilst children learn and develop in a stimulating environment.
"All children develop the key skills that they need for the next stages in their learning, such as starting school. Children are sociable, independent learners who are inquisitive to learn"

Tapestry
At Bramble House we use Tapestry to record children's special learning moments. It is an easy-to-use secure online learning journal helping practitioners and families celebrate the children’s learning and development from their very first day with us.
Tapestry enables practitioners at Bramble House to share with parents and carers information on a daily basis about their child and their day. Parents can use this platform to directly message their child's key person at any time. Partnership is a key aspect in ensuring children reach their full potential. Parents are invited to meet with their child's key person three times a year to share details about their child's well being, learning and development.Together we can then plan how best to promote next steps.
